Abstract

Der Artikel befasst sich mit der Einbettung eines Medienlabors der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, dem ein Makerspace sowie ein VR-Labor angegliedert sind, im universitären Kontext. Dabei geht es um die Implikationen des Selbermachens für Lernen und Bildung, Makerspaces an Hochschulen und das Projekt des Medienlabors. Unter der Leitung von Prof. Johannes Fromme wird das Medienlabor in Studium, Lehre und Forschung eingebunden und bietet sowohl Studierenden als auch Lehrenden einen Raum für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung eigener Projekte hinsichtlich medialer Phänomene und digitaler Technologien. Ziel des Beitrags ist es, die Potenziale von Makerspaces an Hochschulen beispielhaft darzustellen.
