Composición florística y estructura de una parcela permanente en bosques secos tropicales del Parque Natural Regional El Vinculo

Abstract

Los ecosistemas del Valle del Cauca han sido transformados a un paisaje con pocos y pequeños fragmentos de bosque. Este estudio muestra los cambios en estructura y composición de la vegetación en una parcela permanente de 1 ha en el Parque Natural Regional El Vínculo, Valle del Cauca, incluye los resultados obtenidos en el primer y segundo censo realizados en los años 2009 y 2011 por la Universidad del Valle. Se obtuvo un total de 3795 registros con DAP ≥ 5 cm correspondientes a 1817 en el año 2009 que aumentaron a 1978 en el 2011, representados por 52 especies, 45 géneros y 25 familias. Las familias botánicas con mayor número de especies en ambos períodos fueron: Fabaceae y Rutaceae. El tercer monitoreo de la parcela permanente instalada en el PNR El Vínculo se hará bajo el convenio establecido entre la Universidad del Valle y el Instituto de Investigación de Recursos Biológicos Alexander von Humboldt, una vez termine el monitoreo se actualizará el recurso.
