Productividad de los autores españoles en revistas internacionales de dermatología. Análisis bibliométrico a través de Medline (1987-2000)

Productividad de los autores españoles en revistas internacionales de dermatología. Análisis bibliométrico a través de Medline (1987-2000)

Abstract

Objetivo Estudio de la productividad cientifica de los autores espanoles en revistas internacionales, asi como la identificacion y evaluacion de los maximos productores. Material y metodos Como principal fuente de estudio usamos las revistas recogidas en la seccion de dermatologia de Journal Citation Reports e Index Medicus, a traves de Medline desde 1987 a 2000. Resultados Segun nuestra estrategia de busqueda hemos localizado 1.312 documentos citables publicados por dermatologos espanoles, con un total de 1.832 autores y 6.064 autorias. Al analizar los indices de productividad hemos localizado 41 maximos productores (mas de 20 articulos publicados), 92 grandes productores (entre 10 y 19 articulos), 607 productores medios (entre 2 y 9 documentos) y 1.092 que han producido un solo articulo. El 2,3% de los firmantes de los documentos (41 de los 1.832 autores de documentos citables) es responsable del 24,6% del total de autorias. Los cinco autores mas productivos fueron: Requena L, Sanchez Yus E, De Moragas JM, Camacho F y Aliaga A. Conclusiones Aproximadamente un 2,3% de los autores es responsable de un cuarto del total de autorias.
