Perancangan Rangkaian Interface Sound Card Untuk Komunikasi Teks Melalui Software FLDIGI Menggunakan Frekuensi Radio

Abstract

Communication through radio waves becomes an alternative communication that connects communication between villages. This communication using data in the form of text and will also be received in the form of text, by changing the text into digital data. This is still relevant at this time because there are still 11% of villages in Indonesia that have not been reached by telecommunications equipment. Modulation in a communication system becomes an important role in data transmission. Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) becomes a modulation option in the designed interface circuit. The design of a series of sound card interfaces for communication using radio frequencies aims to realize a text communication system using a transceiver in the form of a handheld radio. FLDIGI is the software of choice in this system because it can operate in PSK-31 mode with a speed of 31.25 bit/second. The performance of a digital communication system can be assessed based on the SNR and BER values owned by the system. Testing is done with different distance parameters, namely 20m and 200m. The series of interfaces that are designed can exchange text data transfers with Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) modulation using the FLDIGI terminal program. The test results show that the communication system designed has a good performance in BPSK modulation because it has the smallest BER value at 9,684 x 10-17 and the largest SNR value at 31 dB.Komunikasi melalui gelombang radio menjadi alternatif komunikasi yang menghubungkan komunikasi antar desa. Komunikasi ini dengan menggunakan data berupa teks dan akan diterima juga berupa teks, dengan mengubah teks tersebut menjadi data digital. Hal ini masih relevan saat ini karena masih ada 11 % desa di di Indonesia yang belum terjangkau alat telekomunikasi. Modulasi dalam sebuah sistem komunikasi menjadi peran penting dalam transmisi data. Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) menjadi pilihan modulasi pada rangkaian interface yang dirancang. Perancangan rangkaian interface sound card untuk komunikasi menggunakan frekuensi radio bertujuan untuk merealisasikan sistem komunikasi teks menggunakan sebuah transceiver berupa radio genggam. FLDIGI menjadi perangkat lunak pilihan dalam sistem ini karena dapat beroperasi pada mode PSK-31 dengan kecepatan 31.25 bit/second Performa sistem komunikasi digital dapat dinilai berdasarkan nilai SNR dan BER yang dimiliki oleh sistem tersebut. Pengujian dilakukan dengan parameter jarak yang berbeda yaitu 20m dan 200m. Rangkaian interface yang dirancang dapat mempertukarkan pengiriman data berupa teks dengan modulasi Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) dengan menggunakan terminal program FLDIGI. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa sistem komunikasi yang dirancang memiliki performa yang baik dalam modulasi BPSK karena memiliki nilai BER terkecil pada 9.684 x 10-17 dan nilai SNR yang terbesar pada 31 dB.
