Revistas peruanas indexadas en Scopus. Un estudio de caso

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación es describir y analizar bibliométricamente las revistas peruanas indexadas en la plataforma Scopus, a luz del establecimiento de la entrada en vigencia del Reglamento del Registro Nacional Científico, Tecnológico y de Innovación Tecnológica – RENACYT en al año 2016. Esta investigación corresponde a un trabajo descriptivo y analítico de orden bibliométrico. El estudio comprende la descripción bibliométrica de las revistas peruanas indexadas en la plataforma Scopus entre los años 2017-2018. Los resultados indican que la plataforma de indexación científica Scopus, cuenta 8 publicaciones peruanas consideradas de alto impacto distribuidas entre los quartiles Q3 y Q4. Estas publicaciones incluyen las disciplinas biomédicas, veterinarias, humanidades, letras, psicología, filosofía y comunicación. Concluye que la presencia de revistas peruanas dentro de la plataforma Scopus constituye un importante impulso para la visibilización científica nacional, no obstante, el número de revistas y la diversificación de las mismas continúa siendo insuficiente a la luz de las normativas RENACYT. El dominio de las áreas temáticas biomédicas y veterinarias, es indicador de la demanda local de revistas multidisciplinarias indexadas que visibilicen la investigación peruana en el seno de la comunidad científica nacional e internacional.
