Flüssigkeitseinschlüsse in Mineralen

Abstract

Wahrend des Wachstums oder der Rekristallisation von Mineralen konnen neben kristallinen Korpern auch Flussigkeiten eingeschlossen werden. Flussigkeitseinschlusse werden oft ubersehen, da sie mit einem Durchmesser von normalerweise < 1 μm-0,1 mm sehr klein sind. In vielen Fallen sind sie kleiner als 0,01 mm. Grosere Einschlusse bis zu mehreren Millimetern sind selten. Die ersten Arbeiten uber Flussigkeitseinschlusse erschienen bereits vor uber 130 Jahren. Seit der Jahrhundertwende erlebte diese Forschungsrichtung einen schnellen Aufschwung. Wichtige Ergebnisse der jungsten Forschung (bis 1984) wurden von Roedder, 1984 zusammengefast. Ein ausfuhrlicher Abris wird in den Lehrbuchern von Roedder, 1984, Shepherd et al, 1985 und Leeder et al., 1987 gegeben. Das Ziel der Untersuchung von Flussigkeitseinschlussen ist die Ermittlung von physikalischen Daten wie Temperatur, Druck, Dichte und Zusammensetzung der Flussigkeiten. Diese Daten ermoglichen Ruckschlusse auf die Bildungsbedingungen ihrer Wirtminerale.
