Description: These files contain processed data from the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) instrument, providing 1 arc second (~30 metre) resolution elevation data across the research areas used in the SAFE Project. The ASTER data used in these datasets was collected by the NASA TERRA satellite. Although it is freely downloadable, ASTER data downloaded for a project should not be redistributed outside of that project. Accordingly, these data should only be used for research carried out at the SAFE Project. These files combine four panes of ASTER data to cover the SAFE sampling region and carry out some simple geoprocessing to produce a single output files. Details of the geoprocessing can be found here: https://www.safeproject.net/dokuwiki/safe_gis/aster. In general, SRTM data is preferable for most use cases at SAFE, (see https://zenodo.org/record/3490488) but is provided here for comparison.Project: This dataset was collected as part of the following SAFE research project: SAFE CORE DATAXML metadata: GEMINI compliant metadata for this dataset is available hereFiles: This dataset consists of 2 files: SAFE_Aster_metadata.xlsx, ASTER_WGS84_raw.tifSAFE_Aster_metadata.xlsxThis file only contains metadata for the files belowASTER_WGS84_raw.tifDescription: ASTER elevation data in WGS84 geotiffDate range: 2010-10-01 to 2019-10-01Latitudinal extent: 4.0000 to 6.0000Longitudinal extent: 116.0000 to 118.0000

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
