Abstract

Sebastian J. Mosers Buch Pfandsammler: Erkundungen einer urbanen Sozialfigur untersucht in einer ersten umfassenden Studie die in deutschen Städten allgegenwärtige Praktik des Pfandsammlens. Statt das Phänomen als reines Symbol von Armut anzusehen, skizziert der Autor, basierend auf qualitativ ethnografischer Empirie, die komplexe Alltagswelt und strukturellen Einschränkungen, die dieser informellen Praxis innewohnen.
