Creating a Mesh For Open Science

Abstract

Pedro Ferreira, Technical Coordinator of CS3MESH4EOSC and Project and Service Manager at CERN, gave a 15-minute presentation entitled "CS3MES4EOSC - creating a mesh for Open Science" at the CS3 2021 Conference. Pedro introduced the CS3MESH4EOSC project and summarized the main achievements of this first year of work, with a focus on the conception and design of the Science Mesh platform. Pedro also explained how the CS3 ecosystem can participate in the community-wide effort towards a true federation of CS3 services for Science.
