Abstract

[Das Kapitel beantwortet folgende Fragen:] Welche traditionellen Methoden gibt es, um Problemverhalten zu kontrollieren? Warum tritt Problemverhalten auf? Wie häufig ist Problemverhalten bei autistischen Kindern? Was heißt positive Verhaltensunterstützung? Was ist der mehrdimensionale Ansatz im Umgang mit Problemverhalten? Was gehört zur Beurteilung der Verhaltensfunktionen? Welche wichtigen Fragen müssen beantwortet werden? Welche Grundprinzipien sind bei Programmen zur Verhaltensunterstützung zu beachten? Was ist positive Verhaltensunterstützung? Was sind allgemein akzeptierte Vorgehensweisen, um Problemverhalten zu begegnen? Welche Strategien werden empfohlen? Wie geht man mit Obsessionen um? Wie wichtig ist Verstärkung bei der Verhaltensunterstützung? Wie effektiv sind "Auszeiten"? Wann sollte Verstärkung eingesetzt werden? Welche Formen der Verstärkung sind empfehlenswert?
