A new class of problems of electromagnetic diffraction associated with the generalized impedance boundary condition (GIBC) is investigated. Methods for obtaining the GIBC and the conditions of its applicability for an arbitrary cylindrical surface are described. The simulation of defects in electromagnetic coatings is studied. A class of problems that can be solved exactly by factorization is isolated. Models of point defects in coatings are constructed and the limits of their applicability are established.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 2 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
