
Tous les manuscrits du De animae procreatione in Timaeo des Moralia de Plutarque presentent l'anomalie suivante : les chapitres destines a expliquer le passage mathematique du Timee relatif a l'âme du monde, se trouvent inseres au sein d'un developpement philosophique qui leur est etranger. Le temoignage des manuscrits permet de reconstituer le mecanisme de l'interversion des chapitres. D'autre part, le debut du chapitre 21 qui vient directement a la suite de la partie mathematique inseree manque dans nos manuscrits. Le present article propose egalement une restitution plausible de la partie perdue du chapitre 21.
