Key to species of Polyphrix Townes 1 Ovipositor slender, ventral valve apex with two basal teeth widely spaced; width of transverse furrow at base of propodeum, measured centrally, 1.00 width of basal area of propodeum (Figs. 18, 19); para­ocular white stripe complete, encircling eye fully (Fig. 8)........................................................................................................................... 2 ­ Ovipositor thick, ventral valve apex with all teeth uniformly spaced (Fig. 3); width of transverse furrow at base of propodeum, measured centrally, 0.73–0.76 width of basal area of propodeum (Fig. 17); para­ocular white stripe absent from supraclypeal area to posterior orbit (Fig. 7) .........................................................................
