This upload contains the raw data associated with the publication cited below. The data set includes that mass spectral data of the plastic extracts and migrates analyzed using UPLC-QTOF-MSE. For experimental details on the nontarget analysis, see the publication mentioned above. The data uploaded here are in a Waters .raw file format that can be accessed using Waters software (MassLynx, Progenesis etc.) or converted in the open MZML format using msConvert in ProteoWizard (http://proteowizard.sourceforge.net). Each file contains the individual mass spectral data of a sample. They are labelled with "EXT" for plastic extracts and "MIG" for plastic migrates. The sample names denote the polymer type of the plastic product. Further information on the samples can be found in Table 1 of the publication this data set supplements.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
