To improve the efficiency of the railway transport ofUkrainein the conditions of rail industry reform and the introduction of equal access to the railway infrastructure, based on the development of requirements for an automated system for managing the allocation of rail infrastructure capacity to improve the quality of scheduling transportation under open access. The analysis of the stages of production processes of Ukrzaliznytsya JSC, included in the procedure of distribution of bandwidth of the network is automated fragmentation. The functions of existing automated systems of allocation capacity distribution on the railways of such countries as:Germany,Switzerland,France,Belgium,Netherlands,Polandare investigated. It is proposed to create its own automated system, which will take into account the specifics of organization of transportation on the railways ofUkraine. Requirements for the formation of an automated system for managing the capacity of railway infrastructure on the basis of a distributed decision support system for realization of a complex of tasks of planning of transportation from the application for the organization of the route to the allocation of capacity, the development of the thread train timetable and the analysis of the implementation of the transport process. The modular principle of the construction of an automated system is proposed. Measures have been developed for the integration of automated systems operating at Ukrzaliznytsya JSC for information support functions in the allocation of capacity network. r
