Abstract

Se realizó la caracterización de la flora, los escarabajos coprófagos, anfibios, reptiles, las aves y los peces de la zona con remanentes de bosque seco priorizada como Ventana Beltrán, en el marco del Proyecto “Planeación ambiental para la conservación de la biodiversidad en las áreas operativas de Ecopetrol”. Del 19 al 26 de noviembre de 2014 se muestreó la flora y fauna terrestre en tres localidades del corregimiento de Paquiló (municipio de Beltrán, departamento de Cundinamarca), y la ictiofauna en tres afluentes del río Magdalena, entre Paquiló y Beltrán. La flora se caracterizó mediante recorridos libres y la elaboración de un perfil de bosque ribereño; los escarabajos se recolectaron con trampas de caída; la herpetofauna se registró durante recorridos diurnos y nocturnos fijos; la avifauna durante recorridos fijos y con redes de niebla; y la ictiofauna empleando atarraya, chinchorro y salabardo. El conjunto de datos contiene 2036 registros de 234 especies de plantas, 13 de escarabajos coprófagos (y 11 morfos), 9 de anfibios, 10 de reptiles, 159 de aves y 25 de peces (4597 especímenes depositados en la colección del Instituto Humboldt). Estos resultados aportan la línea base sobre las especies para apoyar la identificación de las oportunidades de conservación y manejo integrado del territorio.
