</script>Hesperocorixa linnaei (Fieber) (Fig. 4A) Material examined. Station 12, 21 -v-2013, 1 ♂; station 25, 27 -vi.2013 1♂; 20-viii.2013 1♂ 1♀. Comments. The specimens were found exclusively in freshwater and slow-flowing lotic environments up to 398 m asl. The first record of this species for Tunisia is reported by Gadeau de Kerville (1908) in northern Tunisia (Tabarka, Jendouba). Distribution. This species is distributed in most of European countries, North Africa, Anatolia, Transcaucasia, Iran, central Asia, and Siberia (Jansson 1986; Jansson 1995; Carapezza 1997; Fent et al. 2011; Aukema et al. 2013).
