The Therapy Novel: Specificity of Author`s Metagenre

Abstract

Розглянуті окремі підходи до визначення метажанру, зокрема, з позицій когнітивного літературознавства. Звернута увага на когнітивні моделі, що є водночас і жанровими характеристиками твору з позицій жанрології (генерики). Для психотерапевтичного роману це: безоціннісне розкриття і самоприйняття психічного світу персонажів; звернення до філософських („вічних”) питань буття, проілюстроване сюжетними перипетіями; безоціннісний тип оповіді; специфічний ритм і структура тексту на мікрорівнях. Матеріалом для аналізу обрано романи І. Ялома „Коли Ніцше плакав”, „Шопенгауер як ліки”, повість А. Маршалла „Шепіт на вітрі”. Для ілюстрування окремих позицій частково задіяні роман Ю. Гордера „Світ Софії” та монографія М. Чіксентміхайї „Потік. Психологія оптимального переживання”.
