Abstract

Die Diskussion der Menschenrechte ist fur das Arendtsche Denken von fundamentaler Bedeutung. Im Zentrum ihrer Uberlegungen steht dabei das Problem der Staatenlosigkeit. Besonders die Zwischenkriegszeit hat ihr gezeigt, dass Staatenlosigkeit die Menschen rechtlos macht. In dieser Rechtlosigkeit erblickt Arendt den eigentlichen Verlust der Menschenrechte. Wie ist das zu verstehen?
