Agromyzidae This family contains over 3,000 species (Evenhuis & Pape 2020). Rondani (1875b) described 15 Palaearctic nominal species, six considered as valid, six as junior synonyms and three as nomina dubia (Papp 1984b, Spencer & Martinez 1987, Canzoneri et al. 1995, Evenhuis & Pape 2020). In his paper on the Rondani types at MZUB, Morge (1959b) listed three names (nomina nuda) that he attributed to Rondani. Kenneth A. Spencer examined the MZUF types without publishing any lectotype designation (Spencer & Martinez 1987). Here, we designate a lectotype for Domomyza anthracipes Rondani, 1875 and Domomyza frontella Rondani, 1875. Except for two syntypes in the MZLU and one in the MZUB, the type material for all nominal species is in the MZUF.
