This deliverable provides an initial version of the RELIANCE data management plan (DMP), following the template provided by the European Commission in the Participant Portal. The document outlines data that will be collected or generated during the project and discusses how it will be handled during and after the project lifetime. As part of the Open Research Data Pilot (ORDP), RELIANCE delivers a first version of the DMP at an early stage of the project. This first version focusses on already identified research data to be collected, used and/or produced by the project, particularly by our scientific communities as part of the implementation of their use cases, but also the user data collected by the RELIANCE services. Additional data or updated data to be used/produced by the use cases will be detailed in the public deliverable of the use cases D7.1 in M12, and accordingly the DMP will be updated. Similarly, the DMP will be updated over the course of the project whenever significant changes arise, e.g., new data is used/produced. A final version of the DMP will be delivered at M24, which will include more detailed plan regarding external data sharing, use and exploitation after the end of the project. In addition to the official releases in the form of deliverables, the DMP is planned to be maintained in Argos, the EOSC service enabling the management of DMPs.
