La gamificación como estrategia innovadora para estimular el aprendizaje activo en los estudiantes de la institución Matilde Hidalgo de Procel

Abstract

La gamificación como estrategia pedagógica para aplicarla en el aula constituye una alternativa de solución al anhelado cambio que se requiere en el sistema educativo. Por otra parte, responde a la necesidad cada vez más notable de los estudiantes al ser escuchados y tomados en cuenta en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. El presente trabajo investigativo plantea como objetivo general proponer orientaciones pedagógicas sobre el uso de la gamificación como estrategia innovadora, para estimular el aprendizaje activo en los estudiantes de la Institución “Matilde Hidalgo de Procel”. Metodológicamente, la investigación presenta un enfoque cuantitativo utilizando el método deductivo para acercarse a la realidad, bajo un diseño de campo. El instrumento empleado, es un cuestionario con preguntas cerradas tipo Likert. Los resultados develan que, de la población encuestada, el 33,6% maneja referentes teóricos sobre gamificación; el 41,6% identifican que, a través de la gamificación se puede generar el aprendizaje activo; y el 52,0% no utiliza estrategias gamificadas en su quehacer didáctico. Se generó una propuesta de orientaciones centradas en el uso de la gamificación en el aula de clases con el fin de incentivar el aprendizaje activo. Dicha propuesta debe ser validada y aplicada para futuras especificaciones por área o asignatura.
