Control of mouse hepatitis virus replication in macrophages by a recessive gene on chromosome 7.

Abstract

Abstract We have identified and mapped a new locus that imparts resistance to productive infection of mouse hepatitis virus MHV(A59) in cultured macrophages. This locus maps 41.5 centimorgans from the albino locus on chromosome 7.
