Abstract

Salmonellen konnen morphologisch nicht von anderen Enterobakterien unterschieden werden. Sie sind peritrich begeiselt, daher beweglich. Auf ublichen Nahrboden wachsen sie aerob sowie anaerob. Es sind etwa 2000 verschiedene Salmonalla-Arten bekannt. Nach O-(Lipopolysaccharide) und H-(Geisel) Antigenen erfolgt die Einteilung im Kauffman-White-Schema. Die Unterscheidung von Typhus und Enteritis ist von Bedeutung, da man verschieden therapiert. (Typhus: Antibiose, Enteritis: Wasser,- Elektrolytersatz)
