Presentation of the data steward tasks in and beyond the TKFDM pilot project "Rent a Data Steward" at the international RDM Community meeting "Fellowship of the Data" on April 1st and 2nd 2025. The presentation briefly introduces the original project concept and shortly illustrates the experiences made so far, before focusing on those aspects of the work that go beyond the direct collaboration with the participating research groups at Thuringian public universities and universities of applied sciences.
Lots of the grayscale images used in the presentation are public domain images derived from publicdomainvectors.org. Most of them have been profligately modified, mixed and disfigured at our pleasure for our presentation. The inscription on the ring in slide 12 says "Fellowship of the Data". It has been set using the "Greifswalder Tengwar" font by Peter Wiegel, licensed under GNU General Public License (GPL-3.0) and SIL Open Font License (OFL-1.1).
