Abstract

Science & Demonstration Case Name Multi-hazards in the Caribbean SIDS Data Title Drone images and 3D model - Regions in Dominica, February 2024 Dataset Description Images captured using a DJI drone of part of the Study area in February 2024. The file comprises three different regions: Coulibistrie, Pichelin and Point Michel. Key Methodologies Images were captured using a DJI drone for three regions: Coulibistrie, Pichelin and Point Michel. Temporal Domain February 2024 Spatial Domain Three different regions in Dominica: Coulibistrie, Pichelin and Point Michel. Key Indicators Point cloud and 3D mesh Data Format JPG Source Data Drone images were captured using a DJI drone. Accessibility Zenodo, https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13834494 Stakeholder Relevance The generated products from drone images can be used for mapping and risk management. For example, the 3D models generated from these images can be used to create the digital twin framework that can be tailored for flood risk management. Limitations/Assumptions Some images can be ignored as they can not be calibrated or when so much noise is introduced, especially the oblique ones in some cases.
