Abstract

117. Ixodes kohlsi Arthur, 1955b. An Australasian species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Sphenisciformes: Spheniscidae, while adults alone have been collected from Suliformes: Phalacrocoracidae, and Procellariiformes: Procellariidae. Ixodes kohlsi is a very rare parasite of humans.
