Abstract

The Evaldo Buttura Herbarium (EVB) at the Federal University for Latin American Integration (UNILA), located in Foz do Iguaçu, began its activities in 2015 with the restoration of the historical collection of botanist Evaldo Buttura, who conducted plant collections in western Paraná over 40 years ago. In addition to preserving this legacy, the herbarium also houses specimens from the Foz do Iguaçu microregion, particularly from Iguaçu National Park and urban flora surveys.
