Abstract

Colecci?n de algas del herbario EMMA. El herbario EMMA surgi? como colecci?n asociada a la unidad de Bot?nica de la entonces Escuela de Ingenieros de Montes de Madrid y de ah? recibe su acr?nimo: "Escuela de Montes de MAdrid". Actualmente, el nombre del centro universitario es Escuela T?cnica Superior de Ingenier?a de Montes, Forestal y del Medio Natural (Universidad Polit?cnica de Madrid). La colecci?n principal de este herbario alberga plantas vasculares y se centra en la flora le?osa de la Pen?nsula Ib?rica, aunque tambi?n cuenta con otros elementos. La colecci?n EMMA-Algae es una colecci?n de algas que consta de 37 ejemplares de principios del siglo XX, la mayor parte recogidos por Ferm?n Bescansa Casares en 1905 y revisados por Ignacio B?rbara en 2022. Los resultados de esta revisi?n se incluyen en la publicaci?n: I. B?rbara (2023) Herbario de algas bent?nicas de Ferm?n Bescansa Casares 1874 ? 1957. A Coru?a. Universidade da Coru?a, Servizo de Publicaci?ns.
