Abstract

El herbario de TEX tiene como una de sus metas curatoriales producir un catálogo electrónico de todos los especímenes depositados en éste. Con este fin, ya se cuenta con una base de datos que contiene todos los especímenes tipo depositados en el herbario. Otros fondos se obtuvieron para la incorporación de 15 000 especímenes de Asteraceae recolectados en Texas. Este proyecto es parte de uno mayor que contempla reeditar la flora de Texas teniendo toda la información para ésta en una base de datos. Creemos que este proyecto nos ha dado una valiosa experiencia que redituará en una eficiente ejecución del proyecto aquí propuesto.Reino: 1 Filo: 1 Clase: 4 Orden: 72 Familia: 296 Género: 2542 Subgénero: 31 Especie: 16184 Epitetoinfraespecifico: 1406
