Abstract

El Museo de La Salle Bogotá (MLS) cuenta con 4487 registros de reptiles. La colecta de estos registros data desde el año 1875 y ha sido efectuada en el territorio colombiano en su gran mayoria. Cada registro cuenta con la información de la localidad (actualmante normalizada y georreferenciada), la fecha de colecta, el colector y un nivel de curaduria con el cual se establecio el índice de salud de la colección (ISC) igual a 1,21 lo que llevo a trabajar por su optimización desde 2009. Se han realizado actividades de mejoramiento de las condiciones de almacenamiento, verificación y actualización de la información taxonomica, normalización de localidades y su georrefernciación, repatriación de información y recopilación bibliografica resultado de investigaciones con los ejemplares de la colección.
