Abstract

El presente trabajo contribuye al conocimiento de la flora del estado de Chihuahua y diversidad vegetal de la cuenca. Durante dos años se realizaron colectas y muestreos de vegetación; además con imágenes de satélite se seleccionaron las posibles asociaciones para después ser corroboradas en campo. Se registraron en el herbario 866 ejemplares que corresponden a 83 familias, 332 géneros, 733 especies y 33 infraespecies. Los géneros con mayor número de taxones fueron Muhlenbergia con 24 especies, Dalea con 23 especies y 1 variedad, Euphorbia con 13, Asclepias e Ipomoea con 12 especies y Brickellia y Salvia con 11 especies. Se encontraron tres grandes asociaciones: matorral xerófito-pastizal con un índice de riqueza de 4.52, pastizal-matorral xerófito con un índice de riqueza de 3.17 y Quercus-matorral xerófito con un índice de riqueza de 5.14. Por la riqueza florística, importancia hidrológica y recreativa, la zona pudiera ser decretada área protegida.Reino: 1 Filo: 2 Clase: 5 Orden: 38 Familia: 87 Género: 332 Subgénero: 8 Especie: 706 Epitetoinfraespecifico: 33
