Abstract

The CGMS Herbarium, housed at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, is the largest herbarium in the state. It was founded in 1989 by Professor Arnaldo de Oliveira and was officially registered in the Index Herbariorum in 2002. The specimens in the collection are stored in cabinets and systematically organized in alphabetical order by family, genus, and species. #-------------------- O Herbário CGMS da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, é o maior herbário do Mato Grosso do Sul, foi criado em 1989 pelo professor Arnaldo de Oliveira. Em 2002 foi registrado no Index Herbariorum. As exsicatas na coleção estão acondicionadas em armários e organizadas em ordem alfabética de família, gênero e espécie.
