Weed species of the Central Urals (Sverdlovsk region)

Abstract

Data on weed species diversity in the Central Urals (Sverdlovsk region) are presented. We define weed plants as are plants not specially cultivated but adapted to grow in crops and reduce the size and quality of the crop yield. The list species was compiled on the results of our own research by research group of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the Ural Federal University. Herbarium specimens are stored in the Herbarium of the Ural Federal University (UFU). Our own research data are supplemented by the herbarium specimens of the Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SVER).
