Geo-locations and System Data of Renewable Energy Installations in Germany

Abstract

The data set contains geo-locations and system data of renewable energy installations in Germany. It consists of geoJSON files with point geometries for onshore and offshore wind turbines, ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, bioenergy systems, and hydroelectric power plants, as well as a file with polygons for photovoltaic field systems. The dataset also includes the point data as a csv file. Data processing can be found under the Git repository https://git.ufz.de/manske/regeoloc. The description of the data processing can be found in the related article: https://doi.org/10.3390/data7090128 Version Documentation V20230420 This version contains geo-locations and system data of renewable energy installations up to the cut-off date 2023/04/20. Please also check the release notes within the dataset. V20210507 This version contains geo-locations and system data of renewable energy installations up to the cut-off date 2021/05/07.
