Monitoreo pasivo de fauna silvestre con cámaras trampa en el Río Tillavá, Meta, Colombia - Proyecto FIBRAS

Abstract

Este recurso resume la información obtenida del monitoreo pasivo con cámaras trampa en las veredas Puerto Triunfo, Santa Helena y Rubiales, municipio de Puerto Gaitán, Meta. El objetivo del proyecto es establecer el efecto de la intervención antrópica medida a través del "Índice Espacial de Huella Humana" en la diversidad de mamíferos. Para esto se asignaron 102 cámaras en las diferentes coberturas vegetales incluyendo sabanas naturales y antropizadas, bosques de galería, matas de monte y morichales. Del total asignado se instalaron 101 (una estaba defectuosa) en año uno, y 96 cámaras en año dos. Luego de 30 días de observaciones con las cámaras trampa se obtienen un total de 29.108 registros de imágenes asociadas al Darwin Core en año uno y 90.111. Los registros incluyen información sobre aves y mamíferos con identificación taxonómica al mayor nivel posible. Para la publicación de estos datos se eliminan los 112.742 registros negativos, dejando únicamente 6.477 observaciones.
