Abstract

Résumé : Ce travail a pour objectif de montrer que la langue des signes est un outil d’insertion sociale et professionnelle des personnes sourdes de Côte d’Ivoire. La prise en charge socioprofessionnelle touche toutes les couches sociales dont les personnes sourdes. La présente communication s’inscrit dans le cadre théorique de l’Alphabétisation REFLECT. L’enquête s’est intéressée aux auditrices en couture de l’ASMCI (Association des Sourds et Malentendants de Côte d’Ivoire. A l’aide de la langue des signes (ASL-CI) elles arrivent à se former, s’insérer dans la vie sociale et être professionnelle.
