Gonality of Points in Brill-Noether Loci of the Moduli Space of Curves

Abstract

In this masterthesis we study the geometry of the points in the Brill-Noether locus. Typically, we want to study the gonality of points in this locus, that can be seen as projective curves. We also study what curves on K3s, which corresponds to smooth curves in the Hilbert scheme. I denne masteroppgaven studerer vi geometrien til punktene i Brill-Noether lokuset. Et typisk problem er å finne gonaliteten til disse punktene, som kan bli sett på som projektive kurver. Vi skal også studere hvilke kurver på K3 flater som korresponderer til glatte punkter i Hilbertskjemaet. MAMN-MAT MAT399
