Abstract

El artículo forma parte de un trabajo más completo y complejo que, el Grupo «DIDAC» de investigación educativa, está llevando a cabo durante el bienio 96·98. Con la investigación se pretende dar respuesta a la pregunta genérica: «¿Sirve para algo estudiar Magisterio?». Para contestar al interrogante, se ha diseñado una investigación que ha hecho el seguimiento de 944 titulados de la Escuela de Magisterio de Teruel. Los diplomados acabaron los estudios durante los quinquenios 76·80 y 86·90. Para llevar a cabo el estudio, se ha realizado en primer lugar, un análisis exhaustivo de la documentación archivada en los expedientes y, en una segunda parte, se han utilizado todos los medios para hacer llegar una encuesta que deberían contestar y que versaba sobre los avatares socioprofesionales vividos por los titulados. Se constata que los profesores titulados en la Escuela Universitaria de Teruel están bastante satisfechos con la formación inicial recibida, sin querer ocultar que se han recibido algún tipo de críticas sobre la validez de la formación recibida. La parte que se presenta se ha dividido en dos capítulos; por una parte, se analizan los estudios realizados que permiten un crecimiento, una nueva titulación y, en la segunda parte, se trata la realización de cursos, seminarios, grupos de trabajo que les permiten una cualificación, pero que no se puede podemos considerar como educación reglada.
