Canaliculite: relato de casos e conduta
Objetivo: Descrever 5 casos clínicos com o diagnóstico de canaliculite, enfatizando a importância do diagnóstico como uma das causas de conjuntivite e/ou blefarite crônicas, como também demonstrar a eficácia do tratamento cirúrgico nos pacientes estudados. Métodos: Descrição de 5 casos clínicos e do tratamento cirúrgico aplicado. Resultados: O gram foi sugestivo de Actinomyces israelli e as culturas foram negativas. O tratamento cirúrgico proposto mostrou-se eficaz. Conclusão: A canaliculotomia com preservação do ponto lacrimal nos pacientes portadores de canaliculite mostrou-se eficaz.
