A intervenção terapêutica em crianças com disfonia infantil tem-se mostrado um desafio, pois há uma grande dificuldade em fazer com que estas adiram ao tratamento, reduzindo os abusos vocais, fazendo os exercícios propostos e generalizando os conhecimentos aprendidos. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar quais as dificuldades na intervenção em disfonia infantil. E a sua pergunta de partida é se seria pertinente elaborar um caderno de intervenção para a disfonia infantil. Para tal, na primeira parte da metodologia do estudo foi feito um questionário a terapeutas da fala sobre a intervenção em disfonia infantil e que respondesse à pergunta de partida. Após a análise dos questionários, e se as respostas dos terapeutas fossem maioritariamente afirmativas quanto à elaboração do caderno de intervenção para a disfonia infantil, proceder-se-ia a esta etapa. Com as respostas dos questionários foi possível fazer um levantamento das dificuldades desta intervenção, o que tornou evidente a efetividade do desenvolvimento de material para o tratamento de disfonia infantil. Este material é uma mais-valia para a intervenção do terapeuta da fala. The treatment of children with voice disorders has proved to be a challenge because there is an enormous difficulty in making children adhere to treatment, reducing their vocal abuse, doing the proposed exercises and generalizing the behaviors. The aim of this study is to identify the difficulties in treating in children with voice disorders. The starting point is to find out if the creation of an intervention guide for children with dysphonia would be relevant. In the first part of the study, a questionnaire was completed by speech therapists with regard to this intervention and the relevance of the guide. After the analysis of the questionnaires and if the answers were mainly positive regarding the creation of the intervention guide for children with dysphonia, it would be done at this stage. With all the answers from the questionnaires, it was possible to gather all the difficulties, which made effectiveness in development of intervention material. This material is an added value to the intervention of the speech therapist.
