</script>Neurologic diseases are one of the most common indications for therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE). In autoimmune neurologic diseases like Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, and paraprotein-associated polyneuropathy, TPE has been found to be beneficial. In some others (e.g., multiple sclerosis and Eaton-Lambert syndrome), TPE cannot be considered a generally accepted treatment option.
