Seven patients with mutational falsetto voices showed that high pitch is a common sign and symptom. The maximum phonation time of patients was shorter than normal. Most of the otolaryngological examination revealed normal larynx. Perceptual evaluation, ear training practice and establishing a new pitch technique were used for assessment and therapy. The voice of most patients improved greatly and became normal within 5 sessions.
