
On the basis of a literature review the author discusses the aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, clinical course and treatment of central nervous system tuberculosis. Attention is called to the necessity of further improvement of diagnostic methods for making possible early diagnosis and modern treatment of this disease.
