Abstract

A bereavement follow-up program has been instituted through the efforts of a group of interested nurses. A self-help booklet, along with a sympathy note, is sent to those who have lost a loved one. A response form provides for answering of questions and requests for further assistance. A one-year anniversary note reminds them that their loved one is not forgotten.
