
Kommerell's diverticulum of an aberrant right subclavian artery is a rare embryologic anomaly. It should always be considered when a patient presents with a central mediastinal tumour. In spite of sophisticated newer investigations, aortography remains the diagnostic procedure of choice. Ligation in continuity is a safe and simple method of management.
