Digital Video Angiography is a new radiologic technique utilizing digital electronics to enhance subliminal information in the fluoroscopic image. Angiography performed via intravenous technique is safer, faster, and can be done on an outpatient basis reducing cost and patient inconvenience. Initial investigations indicate Digital Video Angiography is a useful diagnostic procedure that can, in certain instances, be used in place of angiography.
