
The article generalizes experience with the treatment of 91 patients with contusion of the heart (mainly due to a stroke--72%). Within the first three days the diagnosis of heart stroke was established in 76 patients. The left ventricle was injured more frequently, its anterior and posterior surfaces in particular. Lethal outcomes after contusions of the heart were not noted.
