Periodic health examination of the elderly.

Authors: Ryan J.G.P.;

Periodic health examination of the elderly.

Abstract

There appears to be no consensus of opinion about the desirability of periodic health examinations in the over 65 age group. Those in favour suggest an examination once yearly. The yield will naturally increase with increasing age. The authors would personally support the idea of yearly examinations after the age of 70.
