The journals have been scanned in colour with a HP 5590 scanner; 600 dpi. Adobe Acrobat v.11 was used to OCR the text and also for the merging and conversion to the final presentation PDF-format. ; Electron microscopic studies on lumpy skin disease virus, type "Neethling", have been conducted. Virions which are remarkably similar in size and structural appearance to those of vaccinia virus are described. This is presented as further evidence for classifying lumpy skin disease virus as a member of the pox group.
